Is There Downtime After the Procedure?
Scarlet SRF patients usually experience minimal to no downtime and have few restrictions after treatment. The treated area may be red for up to 24 hours. A deeper, more aggressive treatment might be required for some patients, which can extend downtime. Advanced Oral and Facial Specialists will give you an accurate estimate before the procedure.
What to Expect After a Scarlet SRF Treatment
Most patients will experience redness and some minor swelling that subsides within 24 hours. Patients will be sent home with a skincare kit to receive the best results. After 24 hours, patients may apply makeup to the treatment area.
How Long Does The Treatment Take?
A topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area 30 minutes before your procedure begins. This allows you to have a more comfortable experience. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.
When Do I See Results?
Obvious results are usually seen after the first treatment. To help achieve the maximum benefits and results, a three-treatment series is recommended with each treatment four weeks apart.
